Troy Scarlet scored six runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Xenia 10-0 on Saturday at Duke Park.
Troy Scarlet opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two singles. Troy Scarlet first got on the board when lan Westerheide singled, scoring one run and the second from a Jake Stanley single and error by the first baseman.
After two scoreless innings Troy Scarlet broke open the game in the fourth inning. Kiptan Ward started things out with a walk after going to a full count. Ward stole second base on the first pitch to Ian Westerheide. Westerheide singled on a fly ball to left field, scoring Ward. Jake Stanley hit a triple on a long line drive to centerfield, Westerheide. Next batter Jaymeson Carter singled on a 3-0 count, scoring Stanley. Jaxson Carter hits a ground ball to third and reaches base on a throwing error. Stanley scores on error and Carter advances to second on the over throw. Jack Williams singles on a hard ground ball back up the middle scoring Jaxson Carter. Williams steals second and Jaxson Frye grounds out, scoring Williams.
Jake Stanley continues on the mound getting a strikeout and a ground out to start the inning. Stanley then walks two batters and gives up a ground ball single to load the bases. With the shutout on the line Stanley strikes out the next batter on three straight pitches to end the threat.
Bottom of the fifth inning starts with Les Rose earning a walk and stealing second. Ward grounds out but advances Rose to third. After a strikeout for a second out, Rose scores on a wild pitch and Stanley reaches with a BB. Jaymenson Carter hits a line drive double to center scoring Stanley from first to end the game.

Despite the loss, Troy Scarlet did collect six hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Greenville Green had nine hits on the way to victory.
Troy Scarlet jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Jack WIlliams drew a walk, scoring one run, Kipton Ward singled, scoring one run, Jaxson Frye drew a walk, scoring one run, Les Rose drew a walk, scoring one run, and Karter Aberle singled, scoring two runs. Troy Scarlet added one run in the second. Les Rose walked, making the score 7-0. Troy Scarlet added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when Kipton Ward singled, scoring two runs, and Jaxson Frye grounded out, scoring one run.
Greenville Green flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring seven runs on four hits to take a 12-11 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Brody B that drove in two.
